Civil claims for survivors.

Confidential. Survivor-led. We represent adult survivors of childhood and adult sexual abuse in civil claims against perpetrators and the institutions that enabled them.

How we work with survivors

Civil cases are different from criminal prosecutions. You don't need a criminal conviction to file. You don't need to face the perpetrator in court if a settlement resolves the matter. Many cases proceed under pseudonyms ("Jane Doe" / "John Doe") to protect privacy.

We move at your pace. Our first conversations are informational — what happened, who knew, what records exist. We will not pressure you into filing before you're ready.

What we handle

  • Childhood sexual abuse — adult survivors filing under revival windows
  • Abuse in religious, educational, athletic, and youth-serving institutions
  • Workplace sexual assault and harassment
  • Foster care and group home abuse
  • Medical-provider abuse
  • Institutional cover-up and failure-to-supervise claims

Statute of limitations — recent changes

Statutes of limitations for sexual abuse civil claims have been significantly expanded in recent years. Delaware's Child Victims Act of 2007 and subsequent legislation have created revival windows. New Jersey extended its civil SOL in 2019. We will tell you exactly which window applies to your case.

Confidentiality

Your initial conversation with us is privileged. Your name, the perpetrator's name, and the institution involved are not shared outside the firm. If you choose to file, we work with you on whether and when to use a pseudonym.
